When we receive anonymised information about donors from public repositories.

  • We will collect your age range, gender, and other information that the donor has shared with the public repository. Donors are individuals that have shared biological samples and details about themselves with public repositories, like the UK Biobank, for the purpose of advancing scientific research.
  • We collect this information for the purpose of genomic sequencing and advancing scientific research.

When we receive anonymised information about donors from private repositories or clinical collaborators.

  • We will collect your age range, gender, and other information that the donor has shared with the private repository, or a clinical research project (for example, a hospital).
  • We collect this information for the purpose of genomic sequencing and advancing scientific research.

Who do you share my data with?

We may share the information we collect with third parties where we have a lawful reason to do so.

Research partners, suppliers and subcontractors.

  • We may need to share information we collect with third parties to assist with our research. This sharing will be as necessary for our scientific research purposes and for our legitimate interest to complete our research in the most effective way.
